Ok...so i know the words "bikini" and "charity" don't really mesh well...but in MY world, it does!
Ever dream of having myself and a bevvy of bikini clad women, frolicking around- dripping wet...while washing your car?
Imagine paying for it and knowing your money is going to CHARITY!
Well folks, I decided to create another Project Mendoza, but this time anyone and everyone can be involved!
Introducing, my CHARITY BIKINI CARWASH fundraiser! woo hooo!
Throughout the summer, I will be traveling to several cities and hosting my fundraising event. Each city will have a different local charity that will be donated to. After finalizing details, the specific charity group will be announced.
The first two cities that I will be hosting my fundraisers are:
OAHU, Hawaii- Sunday, June 10th // 1pm-4pm (Details will soon be announced)
CHICAGO, Illinois- (Details will soon be announced)
I will release further details as to the exact location, etc etc. I am still working things out. So keep checking back to this page for updates!
WANT TO VOLUNTEER?
LADIES!
If you live in those cities and would like to volunteer ..email me at: MendozaEMAIL@AOL.COM! You must be over 18, be comfortable in a bikini top and shorts or a full-back bikini bottom, NO THONGS since this will be a public event. You will not be paid since this is a charity event, but you will be fed! hehehe!
You will only be soaping up the cars and hosing them down (I will have a team of boys who will dry for us!)..and of course taking pictures with fans!
and MEN!
We are always in need of a helping hand! If you would like to assist us in drying the cars, email me MendozaEMAIL@AOL.COM! Don't worry..we won't expect you to wear a man-bikini or anything! :)

View pics from my charity trip below!
Hi guys! Welcome the section of my site strictly dedicated
to helping those in need. It was always my dream to create
a "movement" of influencing people to help those
less fortunate. So why not start with my wonderful members
here at ChristineMendozaOnline.com! Every 2 months, I will
choose a new charity or fundraising organization to donate
proceeds of my website to.
APRIL-MAY's charity will be dedicated to the homeless families
in Philippines. This is my own independent non-profit organization
I like to call: Project: MENDOZA
I will be making my annual trip to the Philippines the end
of May 2006. All proceeds donated to: Project MENDOZA -will
go towards the purchasing of basic neccessities that people
need to live and everyday life. Basic needs that the homeless
can't afford.
-toothbrush
-toothpaste
-soap
-shaving kit
-hair ties
-hair brush/comb
-lotion
-chapstick
-band-aids |

I put all of these products into indvidual gift bags (I
like to call them "LIFE Kits"! hehehe..) and pass
them out to the homeless people and families that I see on
the streets of the Philippines. I have been doing this for
the past 4 years, every year.. and I would like to invite
YOU to join me!
Since, I've been paying for these products out of my own pocket,
it gets expensive and the LIFE Kits are limited. You can donate
by pressing the DONATE button on this page and ALL of your
donations (a dollar will do!) will go towards purchasing more
basic needs products for even more gift bags! :)
My trip to the Philippines is scheduled to be May 15th-May
25, 2006. So I am starting now, so that we have enough time
and collect enough funds to get the ball rolling!
I will be posting PHOTOS of my trip to the Philippines as
soon as I get back; so you all can see where your extra donation
dollars are going to a great cause!
PROJECT
MENDOZA: MAY 2006 TRIP
Yaaay! I'm back from my first Charity Trip
for Project Mendoza, and it was a great success! Here are
the pictures I promised you and a little diary of what I did.

PART
1
| Here I am shopping for
more groceries to put into the Project Mendoza
bags. Since food is more essential, I purchased
food items such as canned meat, canned fish,
crackers, cookies, noodles. And since the
homeless cannot afford milk to feed their
children, I bought powdered milk as well as
juice and chocolate milk. |
| *whew!* Working
hard, packing all of 210 bags filled with
goods! Thanks to my cousin Glessi for helping
me! Mannnnn, I was breaking a SWEAT in 99
F degree humidity, hustlin' to get these baggies
filled! |

PART
2
Pass out time!! I wish
I had taken more pictures, but it was kinda
hard considering most people don't want a
complete stranger shoving a camera in their
faces. And it's not like I had my camera ready
per person- per bag... But this is pretty
much what I did when I was not shooting in
the Philippines.
Those pictures taken (above, with me and the
2 babies behind the rail)...well, the story
behind that photo is- I was walking with my
family, looking to take a taxi when I look
to my right and see babies sleeping on a cot
behind the siderails of a busy street. The
youngest looked no older than 4 months old.
She was sleeping next to her sister (around
3 years old).. thin from malnutrition, inhaling
the automobile fumes, with flies all over
her face. I started crying. I never once in
my life broke down so instantly... I guess
everything I had seen that whole week had
finally caught up to me and I started bawling
in the middle of Manila's traffic.
The whole week prior, I had seen so many heartbreaking
visions... I felt like shit when I ran out
of bags. I had 210 of them...and did NOT have
enough. I wish I had all the money in the
world to help them all. But I couldnt have
helped the 210 people that received the bags-
without the help of YOU. Those of YOU who
donated to this cause.
I traveled to:
- Pandacan, Manila- one of the many projects
of Manila where a lot of homeless reside.
- Gamao, Tingloy- a small island off the coast
of Batangas. Most of the homes in Gamao were
destroyed by a rainstorm, leaving most of
the people hungry and homeless.
I didn't have too much time to see much of
the other locations in the Philippines, so
I packed a huge bag with as many Project Mendoza
baggies and as I went to the mall or to the
store...so did my baggies! And I gave them
to those I see on the streets. My family called
me "Santa" because I lugged that
huge bag of goodies around wherever I went.
LOL!.
The experience was surreal. Unbelieveable.
Depressing.
- But I would like to thank you all (again)..for
your donations. We helped SO MANY people!
This could not have been done without YOU!
With your help, 210 people were able to eat
and drink...even just for a few days. You
brought a smile to 210 people. You guys are
heros. :)
Thank you! I am forever grateful... <3 |
